Historic Sites of Manitoba: Maryville Cottage / Deaks Cottage (12 Sixth Avenue, Gimli, RM of Gimli)

Constructed around 1925, this private cottage in Gimli was originally owned by John and Mary Deaks, later inherited by their daughters Elsie and Beatrice. The building, a municipally-designated historic site (2012), passed out of family ownership in 1999.
