Historic Sites of Manitoba: Marie Apartments (854 Alverstone Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey, brick apartment block on Alverstone Street in Winnipeg, measuring 72 feet by 55 feet, was designed by local architect Peter Cornelius Samwell and constructed in 1912 by contractor John Edward Wilson at a cost of about $45,000. It contained 14 apartments in its original configuration.
