Historic Sites of Manitoba: Maple Leaf Park (331 Whittier Avenue West, Winnipeg)

This Winnipeg park, opened in August 1947 by Transcona Mayor Andrew Russell “Russ” Paulley, now includes a plaque that was unveiled and dedicated by Transcona Ward Councillor Russ Wyatt in 2006. It commemorates a $65,000 upgrade and renewal of park amenities.
