Historic Sites of Manitoba: Malonton Pioneers Monument (Malonton, RM of Armstrong)

A monument in Malonton, in the Rural Municipality of Armstrong, was erected in July 1984 by members of the Smerchanski family, including Mark G. Smerchanski, to commemorate pioneers of the Malonton area. Among them was Anton Smerchanski (1883-1967) and his wife Yevdokia Smerchanski (1886-1966). The names of pioneers are listed on the monument.
