Historic Sites of Manitoba: Lowe House (474 Bannerman Avenue, Winnipeg)

This 2½-storey wood frame and wood plank siding, American Foursquare-style house is on Bannerman Avenue in Winnipeg. Measuring 20 feet by 26 feet, and 10 feet by 12 feet, it was built in 1913 by owner/contractor Morris Segal at a cost of about $2,400. He sold it to Louis S. Lowe, a freight worker at the Canadian Pacific Railway.

Subcontractors included: Clyde Plumbing Company (plumbing).

At the time of a 2025 site visit, the house was slightly modified from its original appearance.
