This 2½-storey structure on Middle Gate in the Armstrong’s Point area of Winnipeg, measuring 36 feet by 37 feet, was designed by local architects Lindsay Alexander Wardell and David William Fair Nichols. It was constructed in 1909 by the construction firm of Grey and Company at a cost of about $6,000.
