Historic Sites of Manitoba: Kostuik-Olynyk Conservation Monument (RM of Riding Mountain West)

A monument in the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West commemorates a 1984 wetland conservation project by Ducks Unlimited Canada, the Rural Municipality of Silver Creek, and local landowners Peter Kostuik, Steve Olynyk, Allan and Elma Rowland, Derry and Katherine Moulson, Glenn and Linda Pizzey, Clarence Reagh, and Roy Reagh. Funds for the project were provided by members of the Sodrel family of New Albany, Indiana: Mitch Bell, Donna Sodrel, Larry Sodrel, Marquita Sodrel, Robert E. Sodrel, Carrie East, Jack Sodrel, M. Noah Sobrel, Michael E. Sodrel, and Terry Sodrel.
