This monument in the Rural Municipality of Louise, erected in 1982, commemorates the pioneers who homesteaded this site, the south half of 16-4-11W, in 1882: William J. Kester, Elizabeth White, and their sons George G. Kester and Archibald G. Kester, and their descendants.
