Historic Sites of Manitoba: St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church (Horyn, RM of Lakeshore)

This Ukrainian Catholic church in the community of Horyn, in what is now the Rural Municipality of Lakeshore, was constructed in 1941 on two acres of land acquired from the government. Construction was done by volunteer labourers under the supervision of Vasyl Kiniak of Sifton.
