Historic Sites of Manitoba: Halbstadt West Mennonite Church and Cemetery (Municipality of Rhineland)

This church and cemetery in the Rural Municipality of Rhineland was once situated opposite the Halbstadt School site. The congregation began German-language services in 1892 and was formally organized in 1937 when the first church building was constructed. The present building dates from 1955 and services as of the 1960s are held in English.
