A 150,000-bushel, composite-style wooden grain elevator at Gilbert Plains, on the CNR Togo Subdivision in the Municipality of Gibert Plains, was built in 1953 by the Manitoba Pool Elevators. Closed by Agricore in May 2001, the elevator was demolished in 2002.
