Historic Sites of Manitoba: Dickson School No. 1063 (RM of Dauphin)

The Dickson School District was organized formally in April 1900 and a one-room school building was erected on the southwest quarter of 21-25-18 west of the Principal Meridian, in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin. The school closed in 1965 with remaining students going to schools in Dauphin. The building is still present at the site, used for storage.

Among the teachers of Dickson School were Peter Kokolski (1954-1960) and Joseph Gosskie (1960-1965).
