A wooden grain elevator at Cypress River, on the CPR Glenboro Subdivision in the Rural Municipality of Victoria, was built by Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1928. Its capacity was augmented with a balloon annex in 1954 and a crib annex in 1976. Closed by Agricore in 2001, it was sold to the Paterson Grain Company in 2004. The railway line was abandoned in 2014 and was removed in the summer of 2016.
