Historic Sites of Manitoba: “Civic Awards” Mural and Plaque (Princess Street, Winnipeg)

This mural, dedicated to the men and women of Winnipeg’s police and paramedic services is found on the south wall of the Winnipeg Public Safety Building Garage on Princess Street. Commissioned by Take Pride Winnipeg, Winnipeg Police Service, and Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, it was unveiled on 22 October 200 and is the work of artist Helena Jaworski.
