This two-storey frame and stucco Tudor-Revival building on Maple Street in Pine Falls, measuring 70 feet by 95 feet, was constructed in 1937 by owner J. W. Johannson. Originally featuring a single screen movie theatre and bowling alley, it was also used to host community gatherings for workers from the nearby paper mill.
At the time of a 2025 site visit, the building was in relatively good condition and was in use as a movie rental store.
