A wooden grain elevator at Benito, on the CNR Preeceville Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Swan Valley West, was built in 1929 by Searle Grain. In 1966, the company merged with Federal Grain and the elevator was repainted in the new corporate colours, becoming its first elevator at this site. The elevator was sold to Manitoba Pool in 1972, becoming Pool D. It closed in 1983 and was later demolished.
