Historic Sites of Manitoba: Barnwald School No. 1645 (Municipality of West Interlake)The Barnwald School District was established in November 1912 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at NE6-25-6W in what is now the Municipality of West Interlake. In 1967, the district was dissolved and its catchment area became part of the Lakeshore School Division. No vestige of the former school was found during a 2016 site visit.
