Historic Sites of Manitoba: Armitage Family Monument (Municipality of Prairie View)

A monument in the Municipality of Prairie View commemorates Herbert DeWinton Armitage (1879-1957) and Catherine Muirhead Armitage (1882-1967), who in 1905 established the Arrowdale Farm at NE10-13-26W. It also commemorates their nine children: Charles A. Armitage (1906-1978), Mary Armitage (1907-?), William Armitage (1909-1916), Allan Muir Armitage (1912-1992), Kenneth Greville Armitage (1915-1918), Margaret Jean Armitage (1917-1918), Fay Armitage (1919-?), Keith Armitage (1922-?), and Ivan Armitage (1927-?).
