Historic Sites of Manitoba: Amherst Apartments (478 Wardlaw Avenue, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Wardlaw Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 50 feet by 114 feet, was designed and built in 1929 by Walter Edwin Rooke on behalf of the Elm Park Syndicate at a cost of about $75,000. The structure contained 22 apartments in its original configuration.
