Historic Sites of Manitoba: Aberdeen School No. 761 (RM of Louise)

The Aberdeen School District was established in May 1893 and, the following year, a wood frame school operated at SW13-1-11W in the Rural Municipality of Louise. The district was dissolved in 1964 and its area became part of the Snowflake Consolidated School District. The building is no longer present at the site, having been moved to SE17-2-10W for use as a garage, but a metal sign commemorates it.
