Historian.

Robert Vranich is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta. His research focuses on the history of wilderness preservation and nature-based recreation and tourism in northern Canada. Robert's dissertation applies a settler-colonial lens to the history of Nahanni National Park Reserve in the Northwest Territories.
