Memorable Manitobans: Norma R. Tissott (?-?)Civil servant. She came to Manitoba early in life and lived at Flin Flon where, as an employee of the Town of Flin Flon for 25 years, she worked for public welfare, town planning, social services, committee and boards devoted to the city and northern development. She was a charter member of the Women’s Business and Professional Club. She later moved to Ontario. In 1968 she was given a Golden Boy Award for meritorious service to Manitoba.
