Historian.

Educated at the Universities of Ottawa and Toronto, Michael Dupuis of Victoria, British Columbia has been a teacher for the last twenty years in Ontario and British Columbia. His article on the Toronto Star and the Winnipeg General Strike, published in Manitoba History (Number 49, June 2005), is based on his Masters thesis entitled “The Response of the Toronto Daily Press to the Winnipeg General Strike.” Mr. Dupuis’ collection of interview tapes and letters related to the general strike is held at Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa.
