Memorable Manitobans: Adam Clarke (1873-?)Physician. Born Millbrook, Ontario, 10 October 1873, son of Reverend Richard and Frances Clarke. Educated at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario. Commenced practising medicine Lauder, Manitoba, 1901; later in Cypress River, Manitoba, where medical health officer, 1901-1906; came to Winnipeg, 1907. Married Alice Maud Sadler, Lindsay, Ontario, 1901; has two daughters. Society: AF & AM. Recreation: walking. Conservative; Methodist. Address: 500 Wardlaw Avenue, Winnipeg. In 1911, Clarke's practise was located at 211 Somerset Block, Winnipeg.
