Manitoba Organization: Manitoba Habitat Heritage Corporation / Manitoba Habitat Conservancy

The Manitoba Habitat Heritage Corporation was a provincial Crown Corporation established in 1986. Its mandate is to conserve, restore, and enhance natural habitat around Manitoba for the benefit of fish and wildlife populations. In 2023, it was renamed the Manitoba Habitat Conservancy and became a charitable organization separate from government.
