Manitoba Business: The Pas Northern Mail / The Pas Herald

In 1959, Orson F. Wright and Abe Ostrey purchased The Pas Northern Mail newspaper, founded in 1928 as the first daily newspaper in northern Manitoba. Later incorporated as the Northern Publishing Company, with Wright as President, it published the Nickel Belt News at Thompson (1961) and The Pas Herald.
