MHS Centennial Business: Queens Hotel (Rapid City)

The Queens Hotel in Rapid City advertised at the Fall Exhibition on 7 October 1881: “Entirely new. Good airy bedrooms. The table is supplied with all the luxuries of the season. Good stables in connection with the house.” Jim Christie, the owner of the hotel, accepted an MHS Centennial Business Award in May 2004, presented by Judith Hudson Beattie, Ken Zealand and David Deane.
